The place
Staffed cabin overlooking the Val d'Illiez, in the Vaud Alps (Switzerland), at the foot of the Haute Cime of the Dents-du-Midi. Views over the alpine lakes and the Portes du Soleil area. Managed by Pierre Szijarto. 35 places during the staffed season and 30 places in free access outside season. Opening 20 June 2026. Bivouacking and camping are prohibited in the municipalities of Champéry and Val d'Illiez.
Getting there
3 h 30 walk and 1,000 m of ascent from Champéry station. Evening meal at 18:30; notify the warden in case of delay. Contact: +41 79 473 71 40, info@antheme.ch.

Good to know
- For those who would like to bring dogs, please check with the municipality of Champéry and Val d'Illiez. There are now guard dogs protecting the sheep flocks. It can be risky to hike up with your four-legged companion. - A sleeping bag liner is strongly recommended.
