Alpen Cabin (Hidden Valley Cabin)
The place
Wilderness A-frame cabin built beside a small alpine lake on the north-west shoulder of Alpen Mountain, in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (British Columbia, Canada). Sleeping: two people on the ground floor and several more under the loft. Originally designed as a snowmobiling cabin, accessible from the Mamquam P Line via the Alpen Mountain Spur road, which arrives almost right at the foot of the shelter. Wood stove but little fuel nearby, plan to bring your own. Logbook available. No warden, no booking.
