The place

Site at 380 m in the Étang des Landes National Nature Reserve (Creuse, Limousin), open to all year-round for observing flora and fauna. Two main structures: the Grand Affût, a wooden hut on stilts, and the Affût des Trois Bouleaux, thatched with straw. Bring a camping stove for meals as fires are forbidden. Access by car via the D915 or on foot from the villages of Lussat, Gouzon or Saint-Loup.
