Abri du col du Bonhomme

The place

Basic shelter at 2329 m, on the left as you reach the Col du Bonhomme coming from the Lacs de Jovet (Beaufortain, Haute-Savoie). A stage on the Tour du Mont-Blanc. Hard floor and a bench forming the inside perimeter of the hut, for a maximum of 4 people sleeping. Nothing inside, door closes poorly since the wood has warped, no windows. In winter, probably hard to spot under the snow. Located within the Réserve naturelle des Contamines-Montjoie.
