The place

If you're sensitive to the stream water without knowing there's a cattle herd further up, you'll find water closer to the springs at the Rialb hut if the catchment has been connected, or about 50m above the hut following the path, where water flows freely (I think the catchment feeds into it, but a bit higher up). From the Sorteny car park: Drive up via Andorra, Ordino (starting point of the extraOrdino! Andorra Mythic Ultra Trail!!! I know, that's an easy one), continue up the valley to El Serrat (hotels), then carry on towards Arcalis but take the first road on the right, which ends after 1km at a car park in the Sorteny valley. The path climbs to the north-east, on the true left bank of the stream, and rises gently to an iron footbridge before the Rialp hut, then continues on the left bank of the stream to another footbridge opposite the 2 Orrys.
