Krijtlandpad

Le lieu

A roughly 93-99 km circular route through the chalk hills (krijtland) of Zuid-Limburg, starting and ending in Maastricht. More than half of the trail runs on unpaved tracks through orchards, sunken lanes and small villages such as Slenaken, Vaals and Gulpen. The official Wandelnet division uses five stages, though a connecting shortcut between Slenaken and Gulpen lets hikers shorten it to three, and some walkers prefer to spread it over six easier days.
