El lugar

Scotland's most popular long-distance trail runs 154km from Milngavie, on the northern edge of Glasgow, to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis. It crosses the Highland Boundary Fault over Conic Hill, follows the wild eastern shore of Loch Lomond, opens onto the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor, and climbs the Devil's Staircase before descending to Kinlochleven and finishing through Glen Nevis. Well waymarked and served by regular accommodation, it is considered a moderate trek overall, though the rocky lochside path north of Rowardennan and the exposed Rannoch Moor crossing add real difficulty in poor weather.
