Zupalseehütte: A Mountain Refuge at the Heart of the Austrian Alps The Zupalseehütte is a private hut located in the Lasörling mountain group (a subgroup of the Venediger group) in the Lienz district, in the Austrian region of Tyrol. Perched at 2346 meters elevation, at the foot of the Zupalkogel above Virgen, in the Lienz district, it takes its name from the small Zupalsee lake located right next to the hut. Access From Virgen via the Wetterkreuzhütte in about 6 hours. From Virgen through the Steinkaastal in about 3.5 hours.
