The place

Vuokratupa (paid, bookable Metsähallitus cabin) in Kontiolahti (Pohjois-Karjala, Finland). The site includes the paid cabin, an outbuilding, a camping area, a fireplace, a woodshed, and 2 dry toilets. Access from the Herajärvi loop by two routes: a detour via Turusenautio (~1 km) or via Pitkälampi (~300 m); ~400 m from Ala-Murhi Rantatie. Key in a lockbox (instructions and code sent by email after payment). Shared fireplace in the yard, free camping allowed. Accommodation day runs from 2 pm to 12 pm.
