The place
Standard 12-bunk DOC hut in western Fiordland, reached by boat from the northern end of Lake Te Anau. No booking, pay by ticket at the hut or with a Backcountry Hut Pass. Lake fishing subject to a ballot. Didymo precautions mandatory: do not collect water from Lake Te Anau or the Eglinton River; the Worsley Stream remains uncontaminated.
