A self-managed cabin of the DAV Waltershausen-Gotha section at 797 m in the Thuringian Forest, on the Rennsteig. 20 dormitory bunks on mattresses. Access by bus from Friedrichroda or Tabarz (Kleiner Inselberg stop), parking at Grenzwiese. Ideal for hiking, cycling and trail running. Dogs allowed with prior request. Reserved for DAV members.
