The place
The Waldhütte bei Burg Reichenstein is an unguarded shelter at 485 m altitude, located a few meters from Reichenstein Castle, one of the three historic monuments of Arlesheim (Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland). The left-hand part of the building is locked; the larger covered section is freely accessible. A narrow bench is set up along the back wall. Basic shelter for a break at the foot of the castle, without bedding or particular equipment.
