The place
A forest hut in the municipality of Aesch (canton of Zurich, Dietikon district), located on the Lielistrasse at the edge of the communal forest. Maintained by the Holzkorporation Aesch and rented out for private events (birthdays, weddings, corporate parties, school outings). Capacity of 64 people indoors; an adjoining barn allows for more than 100 people. Fully equipped for receptions: large outdoor fire pit, equipped kitchen, restrooms. A peaceful forest setting in the Zurich hinterland, at the junction of the Reusstal and Limmattal, on local hiking trails. Reachable by public transport from Aesch ZH. An outstanding setting close to Zurich, in the preserved municipal forest.
