Continuous Libya cluster (batches 343-350, 4 listings). COUNTRY ANOMALY: Libya absent from the country database. An Arabic wadi, a typical dry riverbed in the semi-arid Sirte region (Sirte facing the Gulf of Sidra, birthplace of Gaddafi, born 1942), in an area of semi-arid subtropical steppe (150-300 mm/year, in the Jebel Akhdar-Sahara transition zone), and home to Ajdabiya (site of the 2011 battle between Libyan rebels and Gaddafi forces, the third line of defence, decided by NATO airstrikes).
