Self-service DNT cabin at about 950 m at the eastern end of Lake Stora Volavatnet, in a high-mountain area between Voss (south), Kvitanosi (northwest), Vikafjellet (north), and Teigdalen (west), Vestland, Norway. Managed by Voss Utferdslag. Eighteen sleeping spots in total, of which fourteen are reservable, split between the main cabin and an emergency cabin, plus an outbuilding used for storage. Wood stoves, equipped kitchens, solar lighting.

Getting there
The cabin is not locked. No mobile coverage inside (reception about 150 m away). Dogs allowed in the emergency cabin (two kennels). The road to Voladammen usually opens from late June. Bring sheets or a sleeping bag (pillows and duvets provided).
