The place
Free Metsähallitus autiotupa located in the Salmitunturi area of Syöte National Park, on the southern slope of Patolehto near the Jylkynoja stream, in the municipality of Taivalkoski (Koillismaa, North Ostrobothnia). Four bunks. Shared hut, free access under the general autiotupa rules: open, unlocked, stay limited to one or two nights without a reservation.
