The place

Self-service DNT hut of Kristiansund og Nordmøre Turistforening in the Vindøldalen valley (Norway), 15 beds. Access via toll road from Route 65 near Surnadal: parking at Pebua (≈11 km from the RV 65 junction), then follow the track for about 2.5 km, a marked path of roughly 30 minutes uphill. Open year-round, unlocked. Gas hobs, 12V power (mobile charging possible), wood stove, mobile signal. Water from an outdoor tap in summer, melted snow in winter. Bring sheets or use the provided sheet-liners; sleeping bags not allowed directly on the bedding. Dogs only in a separate room / woodshed. View of Fruhøtta (1,435 m) and Blånebba (1,421 m).
