The place
Open wilderness hut (autiotupa) at the northern end of the Soininsuo, near a protected area in Pudasjärvi (North Ostrobothnia, Finland). Formerly the sauna of a 1970s logging camp; the log building underwent a major renovation in autumn 2003. Purchased by the municipality of Pudasjärvi from Metsähallitus in 2021; maintained in partnership with the Livokas Ry association.
