The place

Self-service cabin run by Stavanger Turistforening (DNT) in Hjelmelandsheiane, in Ryfylke (Rogaland region, southwestern Norway). New main building completed in 2019 with a panoramic view, comprising 25 sleeping places, including a loft of small twin rooms separated upstairs for more privacy, plus four extra mattresses. A stage on the Driftavegen between Stakken and Nilsebu. Access with a DNT key, booking possible online at hyttebestilling.dnt.no.
