The place

Large self-service DNT cabin at 1,180 m in the heart of Tafjordfjella (Sunnmøre, Møre og Romsdal, Norway), on the shore of Heimste Veltdalsvatnet. 51 beds in the main building: rooms with 2 and 4 beds, and a large loft. Open year-round, unlocked. Staff on site during the busiest summer months. Kitchen equipment, table linen and provisions sold in the main building (boxed meals, soups, oatmeal, sugar, coffee, tea, crispbread, margarine, spreads, canned desserts).
