Getting there

DNT open cabin, open year-round. Only 6 places (not suited to large groups). No provisions (bring your own food). Equipped with: cooking utensils, dishes, gas, firewood, candles. Summer season: June to October. Winter not recommended. Access from Tenne near Arnafjord (10 m elevation): 4 km steep climb on unmarked trails. Landmark: 2 gravel piles, then a small pine grove, sharp left turn at an info sign and forest road (parking). Follow the forest road to the Vatnane sign, then climb along the river.
