The place

Self-service hut of DNT Romsdal, the association's highest hut at 1,190 meters elevation, on the ridge between Horndalen and Kjøvdalen with 360° panoramic views (Møre og Romsdal, Norway). Two-building complex: main cabin with six bunks (1974) and a four-bunk emergency cabin (1988), ten places in total. Limited capacity, high demand: advance booking required for all places. Unguarded hut, full self-sufficiency required (food, sleeping bag or sheet, cleaning before departure).
