Turk (bivouac shelter) at 1637 m on a ledge below the summit ridge of Vanguard Peak, in the Glencoe Station Open Space Covenant (Otago, New Zealand). Four bunks. Views over the upper Shotover basin and the Southern Alps.

Getting there

Part of the Mahu Whenua Turk Traverse managed by the Mountain Turk Club, connecting Treble Cone to Coronet Peak. Network of turks established under the Mahu Whenua covenants of Soho Property (2015) with the QEII National Trust.
