Uzungöl Doğa Sporları Adrenalin Kulübü
The place
UDSAK camp (Uzungöl Doğa Sporları ve Adrenalin Kulübü — "Uzungöl Nature Sports and Adrenaline Club") located at about 1133 m on the shores of Lake Uzungöl, in the Çaykara district (Trabzon province, Turkey), at the heart of the Uzungöl Nature Park, declared on October 3, 1989. The camp offers a direct view over the lake and its enchanting scenery. Uzungöl, 444 km from central Trabzon and 19 km from Çaykara, has become a hotspot for nature and adventure tourism on the Black Sea coast: trekking, climbing, jeep safaris, birdwatching, and botanical outings. The club offers tours in the Haldizen valley and to the area's famous yaylas (highland pastures), including Sultanmurat 10 km away. An exceptional setting in the eastern Pontic Mountains: beech-spruce forests, the glaciers of Soğanlı, and high plateaus conducive to encountering Laz-Turkish pastoral culture.
