Üte du poète

The place

Üte ("hütte" in Alsatian) at 366 m in La Petite-Pierre, in the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park. One of 8 small 5 m2 wooden cabins called "Haltes" installed along the GR®53 between Rott and Eschbourg (Halte de la vigie, du poète, du pontonnier, du pêcheur, du guetteur, des lavandières, du forestier, du vigneron). Buildings with red trim recalling the trail's historic markers, wide openings positioned for the scenery, information panels on local history. Free access, launched in spring 2021, funded by the European ERDF program (since January 2022), the Grand Est Region, and the Massif des Vosges.
