A traditional wooden Altai shelter in one of the most remote wilderness areas in the world, part of the heritage of the Altai people (Turkic, Oirot, roughly 68,000 people), near the Princess of Ukok/Ochirbei kurgan burial mounds of the Scythian Pazyryks (400 BCE), whose tattooed mummy is UNESCO-recognised (1998).
