The place

Tyskerhytta ("The Germans' Cabin") on the Svalbard archipelago, Ny-Ålesund/Kongsfjorden area (Arctic Norway), at 78°N, one of the northernmost historic cabins in the world. Getting there

Access only in summer, a Sysselmannen (Governor) permit is recommended for any excursion outside Ny-Ålesund/Longyearbyen. Rifle mandatory due to polar bears.
