The place
Staffed Swiss Alpine Club hut at 1,475 m in the Fellital near Gurtnellen (Uri), in the Glarus Alps, managed by the SAC Am Albis section. Thirty-two sleeping places, including six in two small family rooms. Overlooked by the imposing Bristen (3,073 m). An ideal starting point for hikes to the Taghorn and alpine crossings towards the Maderanertal and the Oberalp Pass. Staffed from May to October by an experienced team of volunteers.
