Trekkinghütte "Haselmausbaude"
The place
Trekking hut in the Saxon Switzerland Elbe Sandstone Mountains (Elbsandsteingebirge, left bank of the Elbe), at about 395 m altitude between Cunnersdorf and the Czech border, south of the Buchübel in the Rosenthal forest district. Eight sleeping places in a sleeping loft, eight seating places (indoor and outdoor), wood stove in the common room, dry toilets, rainwater collection. Booking via a trekking ticket is mandatory, to be validated on arrival. Managed by Sachsenforst. Visitors must bring a sleeping mat, sleeping bag, drinking water, toilet paper, a torch and candles.
Getting there
Access in about 2 h 30 from Rosenthal or 1 h 30 from Cunnersdorf, via marked trails and the Alte Drei forest track.
