The place

Private island of about 23 hectares on the glacial river Þjórsá, 3 km from its mouth, in southern Iceland near Selfoss. Three traditional Mongolian yurts with a total of 6 spaces (2 adults + 2 children per yurt). Glamping run by Hákon (and his dog Skuggi) for an immersive nature experience. Activities: salmon fishing, birdwatching, walks around the island.
