Törlehütte
The place
The Törle-Ferienhütte holiday cabin is located in the Holzwald, in the municipality of Bad Peterstal-Griesbach, in the heart of the central Black Forest (Baden-Württemberg). A privately run forest cabin managed by ForstBW (the state forestry administration), part of the network of "beim Förster" rental chalets in the central Black Forest. Positioned right on the Westweg, the historic long-distance trail of the Schwarzwaldverein linking Pforzheim to Basel over some 285 km — one of the most famous Premiumwanderwege trails in Germany. The Schwarzwaldverein manages 24 welcoming Wanderheime, eleven of which lie along the Westweg. A forest setting of silver fir and beech, close to the Bad Peterstal-Griesbach spa, the Renchtal valley and the Mittelweg trails.
