The place

Unguarded DNT cabin of Harstad og Omegn Turlag, in the central Hinnøya massif (Troms). 23 bunks spread between the main cabin (4 rooms) and the Lille Toralfsbu annex renovated in 2025. Gas hotplates, wood stove, solar panels for electricity, wood-fired sauna with shower, drinking water from the Kvitelva stream. A stage on the Trekanten på Hinnøya (multi-day trek). Summer access from Fiskefjorden or Kanstad, winter access from Kanstadbotn. Seasonal Starlink WiFi for an extra fee. Dogs only at Lille Toralfsbu on request. All waste must be carried out.
