The place

Standard-category DOC hut with six bunks, located at 176 m in the Haast, Paringa and Moeraki rivers area, on the west coast of the South Island (Westland). Rate 10 NZD per adult per night, 5 NZD for ages 5-17, free below that, payable via standard tickets deposited on site or an annual Backcountry Hut Pass. No booking required.
