The place

Varauskota (bookable kota) in Teijo National Park, located in Vicksbäcki bay on the shore of Lake Matildanjärvi (Salo municipality, Southwest Finland). Building operated by Natura Viva in cooperation with Metsähallitus. Capacity of fifty people for daytime use; six sleeping places overnight. Traditional Finnish kota setup: central hearth, surrounding benches, ideal for groups. Dry toilets and a woodshed on site. Booking required via Natura Viva. Accessible year-round, along the national park's marked trails.
