The place

Guest house of the Kárpátok Vándorai association (the organisation's second-largest facility), located in the Bükk mountains near the Fennsík plateau (Hungary), at 548 metres of elevation. Easy access: on the Eger-Felsőtárkány-Miskolc road, 10 km from Felsőtárkány, right on the main road. Capacity for 13 people across three rooms; fully equipped kitchen, covered bacon-roasting area, wood stoves for heating. Electricity from a generator, spring water. Fenced and landscaped 2,000 m² grounds with camping possible. Whole-house rental only, minimum stay 2 nights, key pickup between 2 pm and 7 pm on arrival day. Rates 18,000-42,000 Ft/night depending on group size; cleaning before departure or a 5,000 Ft fee. Open from 14 March to 1 November, closed between Christmas and New Year.
