The place
Tällihütte (Berghaus Tälli) at the foot of the "Dolomites of the Gadmertal" (Bernese Oberland, canton of Bern, Switzerland), a mountain restaurant easily reached via the Tällibahn — a self-service gondola (7 min ride up, open daily 7am-9:30pm). Starting point of the Tälli via ferrata (Switzerland's first true via ferrata, opened in 1993; 12 ladders, long and varied, without extreme difficulty) and the trails on the southern flank of the Gadmertal toward the Engstlenalp in the Gental. Quality food and accommodation in double and multi-bed rooms. The Gadmental links Innertkirchen to the Susten Pass, with striking mountain scenery and a rich trail network.
