The place
Coastal lighthouse built in 1874 on Fyrodden, on the island of Korpekollen in the Svenner archipelago, about two nautical miles off Stavern (municipality of Larvik, Vestfold, Norway). The restored stone keeper's house (Steinhuset) has 19 beds across six rooms; guests bring their own duvet or sleeping bag, drinking water and food. Open summer, July-August, with a caretaker on site for bookings on 913 70 570 (after 8pm). Access by the MS Viksfjord ferry from Stavern. Protected natural site.
