The place

Timber cabin managed by DNT in the heart of the forested Finnemarka range, north of Drammen, 2 km northwest of Glitre (Buskerud, Norway), at 433 meters elevation. Eight beds in total spread across one room per floor, beds with duvets and pillows (bring sheets or a sheet liner). Equipped living-kitchen area: gas stove for cooking, two wood stoves for heating, utensils and table linen provided. Access in about 1 hour via a marked T-trail or 1 hour 30 minutes via the blue-marked "Finnevei" from Snoterud near Geithus. Bed rental: advance booking required, risk the cabin is full without a booking.
