The place

Open cabin ("åpen bu") managed by Gausdal fjellstyre, located at 980 m, 200 m west of the upper Svabekktjønn, in the Gausdal Vestfjell / Langsua National Park (Innlandet). A single room with four bunks. A popular starting point for fishing on the Mossjøen, summer and winter alike. Access via the Revsjøvegen at Krokom (Revsjøbommen), then the end of the Sneibergvegen, marked trail from the car park. One of fourteen free cabins maintained by the fjellstyre in the area.
