The place

DNT cabin located at 240 m, the eighth stage of the Fjordruta from Kristiansund airport (Møre og Romsdal). Easy access from Vinjeøra: parking near the old shop along the E39; 40 min walk to the neighbouring summit. Thirteen bunks, open all year round, unlocked. Facilities: gas cooking, 12V lighting, wood burner, mobile network coverage. Sleeping bags not allowed inside (cleanliness): bring a sheet or sleeping bag liner. Around half the beds are bookable via the DNT/UT.no system, valid until 7 pm on the day; payment via the DNT app (offline). Dedicated dog room in the annex. Water drawn from a well 20 m west of the cabin. Managed by Kristiansund og Nordmøre Turistforening.
