The place

Self-service (selvbetjent) DNT cabin at 1,035 m on a ledge overlooking Fortunsdalen, on the route between Sognefjellshytta and Nørdstedalseter (Norway). Considered one of the 17 "hidden DNT pearls". Fully equipped: crockery, table and bed linen, provisions in the pantry. No electricity; gas, wood heating, candles. Water from the nearest stream. Access from Turtagrø: 4 hours' walk. Self-service: cooking, water, dishwashing and cleaning are the visitors' responsibility. Booking and payment via the DNT app (hyttebestilling.dnt.no).
