The place

Self-service DNT cabin in the Breheimen network, at 1,280 m on the south shore of Sprongdalsvatnet in Vestland. An important stop on the glacier tour linking Sota Sæter, Arentzbu, Slæom and Illvatnet via the marked alpine routes BRE14, BRE18 and BRE61. Cabin locked with a DNT key, self-service operation; 12 beds, kitchen equipment, wood heating, water from the lake. Booking and payment via the DNT app. Mainly a summer season, winter conditions are demanding.
