Unstaffed (ubetjent) DNT cabin at 580 m north-east of Luksefjell, near Skrimfjella (Telemark, Norway). Managed by Skien Turlag, open year-round, locked with a DNT key. 10 places: 5 in the bedroom, 3 in the living room, 2 in the annex/emergency shelter. 7 places bookable in advance. Separate annex completed in 2016 with a dedicated dog corner. Panoramic views over Lake Økteren and Vardefjell (799 m). Gas and wood heating, solar panels for lighting, water from the nearby stream or melted snow in winter. Firewood on site. Access from Skien: R32 towards Siljan, left after the Shell station, 35 km to the car park, then about 30 min on foot. Trails to Sommerseter 8.4 km and Sørmyrseter 9 km. Preferential rates for DNT members. Payment via the DNT app.
