The place

Self-service DNT cabin at 300 m above the Vinjefjorden (Trøndelag, Norway). 17 bookable beds, plus extra floor and sofa sleeping space. Open year-round. Summer route: T-marked trail from Vinjeøra (Fjordruta); winter route follows the same tracks (no dedicated winter marking). Gas stove, kitchen equipment, 12V power (lighting, charging), mobile coverage, water piped between the main cabin and the outhouse, wood-burning stove and fireplace. Bring your own bedding (sleeping bag liner or sheet sleeping bag); sleeping bags are not permitted. One dog-friendly room (dogs must be supervised, not allowed on the beds). Booking via DNT, about half the beds are bookable; held until 7 pm. Payment via the DNT app (offline mode available).
