Slimtmorkojan Tjäderberget

The place

Free mountain cabin managed by Länsstyrelsen Västerbotten (provincial administration), in Västerbotten county (northern Sweden), near the Tjäderberget nature reserve. Two bunk beds sleeping four to six people (lower beds are wider). Basic equipment: fireplace, table, chairs, simple cooking utensils; outdoor toilet, woodshed, grill area nearby. Free accommodation, no booking, cabin unlocked year-round. Visitors are asked to clean up after their stay and prepare firewood for the next guests. Priority for sleeping spots given to hikers and skiers. Dogs allowed.
