The place

DNT cabin at 585 m in high-mountain terrain a short distance from Tromsø (Troms, Norway). The westernmost of the four tourist cabins in the area. 11 beds split between Store Skarvassbu (7 beds across 2 rooms: 4+3 including one family bed) and Lille Skarvassbu (4 beds in the common room). Self-service; DNT key required; bring your own supplies. Access from Tromsdalen: 11 km, 3-4 h. To the north: Blåkollkoia via Tønsvikdalen; to the east: Nonsbu and Trollvassbu.
