The place

Self-service DNT hut of Stavanger Turistforening at 612 m in the Frafjordheiene (Rogaland). 42 bunks spread across 6 individually bookable cabins (5 places each: 2 beds + 3 mattresses in the loft) and a main building with kitchen and common area. All cabins have a wood stove and picture windows facing Lake Soddatjørn. Sauna, lake swimming, solar electricity, gas, provisions. Starting point for the Lysefjorden Rundt (a week-long circuit) and access to Preikestolen, Kjerag and Flørli. Summer access: 1.5 h from the Vinddalen car park (100 NOK/3 days).
