Sioskuru varaustupa

The place

Varaustupa (bookable cabin) on the Hetta-Pallas trail in Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, 15 km from Hetta and 40 km from Pallas in the "kuru" (gorge) between Pyhäkero and Siosvaara. The site consists of an 8-bed varaustupa (reserved for hikers, skiers or those travelling self-sufficiently for 1-2 days) and a neighboring free 16-bed autiotupa, plus tent sites. One of the most popular spots on the Hetta-Pallas, the park's busiest trail. Managed by Metsähallitus.
