Silverstream Bivouac

The place

Small basic 2-person bivouac managed by the Department of Conservation (DOC) in the Leatham Conservation Area, southern Marlborough (South Island, New Zealand). Free access, no booking. No track marked by DOC: independent navigation required with map, compass and GPS, approach route to be checked with Marlborough District Council. Unbridged river crossings downstream, do not cross in flood.
