Шиховская изба (Chikhov's Isba) in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Beloretsk/Tirlyansky area (Southern Urals, Russia), at 1011 m elevation, near the Iremel range (1582 m, 2nd-highest peak of the Southern Urals). Continuous Russia Southern Urals cluster (batches 250-310). A historic isba built by miners or hunters (surname Chikhov, a 19th-century Urals industrialist), within the YUGPZ Zapovednik (see batch 297), an alpine taiga zone, reflecting the heritage of the Bashkirs and of Beloretsk's metallurgy (founded 1762 by the Demidovs, later Pashkov).
